Dirt Crits are short course criterium style races, similar to road crits, but on dirt! Each grade has an alotted time in which they race around the course (lap's are 1.5 to 3km long), plus 1 lap after the alloted time. A bell will be rung to indicate the final lap.
The courses are not particularly technical or challenging; it is about short, hard, fast racing. We will be using a combination of existing dirt tracks, gravel paths, some bitumen paths and a few extra special bonus bits!

Volunteers & Marshals
Volunteers will be required to help us setup & packup the course as well as for a few other things on race night.
In particular, we need some course marshals to ensure the safety of riders racing and other general public users of the parklands. A minimum of 3 marshals will be required for each grades race. You won't necessarily need to do it for the whole night, but if a few people can marshal for 1 grades race before or after their own race, it would be a big help. If we can't ensure the safety of other park users, we won't be able to run the crits in the parklands, so if you can help out, please contact us at
