The Friends of Eagle Bush For Life, Bush Action Team has been pulling weeds and working in the Eagle MTB Park since before there was singletrack in Eagle.  We pull weeds and do general work on the first Saturday of the month, unless there is a public holiday on that weekend. 

We meet at 9am at the Eagle on the Hill Gate and we finish around lunchtime.  Most of what we do is remove broom and boneseed, cut back blackberries and gorse.  Because of the way that we do our weeding, you don't see big results right away, but after 6 years in the Park, we are now beginning to see native plants re establish themselves at sites that were once thick with weeds. 

The work that we do partially offsets the native vegetation clearance for all of that lovely singletrack in the Park.

We have 4 sites in the Park, under the powerlines near Tunnel Vision, the triangle opposite the Nationals DH start and a couple of sites along the top section of Hills Hoist. 

Our work in the Park is very important because it shows that the MTB community values Eagle MTB Park and is actively putting something back into the Park.
