Melrose 6 Hour Enduro, Sunday July 18th 2010

Directions to event

Melrose is located approx 3 hours north of Adelaide, via Clare (Main North Road), or up highway 1, and turning at Port Germein to cross the ranges.

There is unlimited bush camping availiable at the caravan park in Melrose which includes the recently finished "camp kitchen " and bike lock up. Plus the option of camping at the showgrounds just outside of Melrose, or Bartagunyah.

Bartagunyah is an undulating property with some excellent bush camping spots. Accommodation at winery is $5 per person per night. Children under 15 will be free. There will be 2 showers and 2 toilets on site. Please note that generators will not be permitted after 8.30pm.

There is no need to be independent with food and drinking water as Melrose has two Hotels with excellent food a take away, and a well stocked general store which has reasonably priced groceries and boxes of water.

INSURANCE

All competitors require accident insurance cover. If you are a member of the Adelaide Mountain Bike club, you will be covered under our capital benefits accident insurance. If you are a member of inside line, you must be a current MTBA card holder. If you are a member of Bike SA, you must provide proof that you have accident insurance through Bike SA's insurance.

If you do not meet the above requirement, then you will need to be signed up as a day member to the Adelaide Mountain bike club.
