How does it work? I cannot see any chain between the Pilot and the stokers cranks. Perhaps there is an internal driveshaft.

It was about an 1" across, I've thrown it away now but my guess is it weighed no more than 5 - 10grams. It's been growing for about 6 months, could have grown more but the tyre needed replacing due to wear.
